Mayor's Message
Welcome to Fukutsu City's website! I am a city mayor Tatsuo Koyama. Taking mayor's office, I have renewed my sense of responsibility to carry out important city policies---execution of big projects such as re-development of east ward of Fukuma station and construction of public drainage system. And we are also confronted by a problem of population decrease even though the decrease rate has been moderate so far. I am determined, however, to manage this situation taking advantage of my 6 consecutive periods' experience as a Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly member and of my experience as a resident in this city for a long time.By the way, one of my top priorities is "to create the city with a sense of unity" more than before. To be more concrete, we make much of conversation with citizens and try to get rid of a wall between districts such as Fukuma and Tsuyazaki.
I think this website is a media to deliver city information, and for me to communicate with people inside and outside of the city. I do hope that everyone would talk with me, making thorough use of information on this website.
