What is "Fukutsu City"?

Name

  On January 24th, 2005, ex-Fukuma Town and ex-Tsuyazaki Town amalgamated to "Fukutsu City."
  The word "Fukutsu" contains a meaning of "happiness" and "port" where many people get together.
Before deciding the name of the new city, we collected public opinion nationwide and we got 3,064, among which "Fukutsu" and "Kita-chikuzen" were chosen by members of Amalgamation Conference.
At the final vote, "Fukutsu" won.

Sub office(Tsuyazaki office) 1-7-1 Tsuyazaki, Fukutsu City

Residents Services are provided at both offices.
Other services are allotted to each office.
