Hotaru-no-sato(Motokigawa Nature Park)

Never fail to come and see fireflies in early summer! Also enjoy a stroll on a romantic promenade under showering sunlight falling from woods shade.
  Hotaru-no-sato or firefly park locates upper Motokigawa river, where riverside nature is around you.
  From late May to early June, you can see fireflies dancing.
  And plum woods in this park, 140 trees of 11 species are planted, offering beauty of flowers in February.   The park has a long shaped area along Motokigawa river; though most of the visitors play at "Tsukimi square", "Jabu-jabu pond" or "Kappa-no-komichi" in playground near parking lots, a few people find an extra fun in walking on "Komorebi-no-michi" or woods shade promenade along the upper river.
  Please enjoy walking and woods atmosphere. You may be encountered by river crabs!
