It is Autumn festival of Namiori Shrine held on October 9 (or on the closest Holiday) every year. People call the festival "Okunchi". At the festival, people carry "Mikoshi" or festival floats around the city in the afternoon, with drums beated and pipes played cheerfully, and in the evening "Kids Sumo Wrestling devoted to god" is played on a Sumo ring in the shrine site, participated in by primary school students.
