Colorful cosmos blooming
In every October, seeds of rape blossoms are sowed by primary school students and other volunteers on a ground of Saigogawa Flower Park in Tsumaru, Fukutsu city.
And in its blooming season of March, you may be filled with happy sense of spring at Saigogawa Flower Park, welcomed a yellow carpet of more than 1 million of rape blossoms, which cabbage butterflies are playing around.
On the other hand, in every August, seeds of cosmos are sowed. In mid-October, with the cosmos blooming fully, "Cosmos Festival" is hold so that people can get to know better about nature and earth.
At the festival, 1 million of red, white or pink cosmos blossoms welcome you. You recognize harvest season of autumn has come, when you observe rice harvesting, or enjoy a cosmos flower sketch competition, or take foods and beverages, and etc.
